What sparked your journey as a coach/entrepreneur? Was there a moment, challenge, or person that pushed you to take this path?
For me, the journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t a straight line—it was a pivot born from disruption. I had a stable career in corporate leadership, but everything changed the day I was laid off. At first, it felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. But that moment became the spark I didn’t know I needed.

Instead of rushing to find another job, I took a step back and asked: What kind of life do I really want to build? That reflection led to a realization—I wanted to help businesses grow through smart, automated marketing and meaningful human connection.

So I founded Happy Path Marketing. I started by helping a few local businesses with their systems and strategy, and quickly saw the impact. My passion for solving problems, empowering entrepreneurs, and creating simple paths to growth turned into a full-blown mission.

Now, I get to help business owners reclaim their time, increase their revenue, and finally get out of the weeds. And honestly? Getting laid off was the best thing that ever happened to me.

What advice would you give to future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?

  • Own your voice—and trust that it’s enough.
    There’s this myth that you have to have it all figured out before you take the leap. You don’t. You just have to start. The confidence comes from action, not the other way around.
  • Give yourself permission to lead boldly.
    You don’t need to lead like anyone else to be effective. You can be direct and empathetic, strategic and nurturing. The world doesn’t need more carbon copies—it needs your unique leadership style.
  • Surround yourself with people who stretch you.
    Mentorship, community, and collaboration are powerful. Don’t go it alone. The right people will remind you of your strength when you forget.
  • Build before you’re ready.
    Waiting for the perfect time is a trap. Start with what you have, where you are, and commit to growing along the way. Progress beats perfection—every time.
  • And finally: don’t just build a business—build a life.
