Dr. Fatemeh Rezaei-Sajadinia is a doctor in physical therapy with a special interest in back pain. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015, she began to study cancer, herbal medicine, medicinal foods, healing, mind, and energy, which ultimately helped her cure her cancer. Having faced health challenges all her life, cancer transformed her journey for the better. She went on to write a book and create courses that have already impacted many lives.
Could you elaborate on the nature of your business, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?
As a physiotherapist I have helped thousands to become pain-free and educated about their body. As a life coach my purpose is to let others know how powerful their mind and body are and how they can help themselves to heal alongside any treatments they choose to have.
What inspired you to start your journey as a coach and entrepreneur? Were there any specific events, challenges, or people that motivated you to take this path?
The breast cancer which was diagnosed on 22nd October 2015 was the biggest challenge in my life. The life of someone who was very familiar with health challenges, who had to have a restrictive spinal surgery at a very young age, sparked the motto for becoming a doctor in physical therapy. After all, I feel like a messenger, to learn and to share.
Looking back at the beginning of your career, what were the major challenges you faced when establishing yourself as a leader/coach? How did you overcome those obstacles?
Coaching is the most rewarding way of transferring your knowledge to others. Yet it can be challenging as we humans have set beliefs and boundaries.
Would you like to share any remarkable achievement?
Thriving with cancer, healing it while you learn from it, is not easy—especially if you keep it to yourself so as not to worry your family and friends. But if I could do it, anyone else could too.
Women are a growing force in workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
I believe that we all have a purpose in life and that is why we are here. As a woman, my life has never been easy, having to care for my family while striving for my purpose. It’s extremely encouraging to see that women are consistently raising their standards, expectations, and power in today’s world. I feel very proud to be part of that community.
What message/advice would you have for future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?
You have no idea how powerful you are with the right mind.
