From dreaming of travel at just eight years old to becoming a global digital nomad coach, Dina Ramadan has built a life rooted in freedom, passion, and purpose. Her journey is one of resilience, self-discovery, and courage—proving that true success is not about titles or paychecks but about crafting a life you don’t need to escape from. At Humans of Fuzia, we are proud to share Dina’s inspiring story with our 5M+ community of women and allies working toward a more empowered, inclusive world.
Q: What inspired you to start your journey as a digital nomad and coach?
Dina: Ever since I was eight years old, I knew I wanted to travel. My sister’s adventures around the world sparked my curiosity, and I always kept that dream alive. By the time I was 16, I realized I didn’t want to live a life of constant work like my parents, who were both doctors. I wanted freedom. After starting my first business at 19, I eventually entered the corporate world, but it didn’t align with who I was. My boss at the time encouraged me to study coaching and read The 4-Hour Work Week. That completely changed my life. I left my job, pursued life coaching, earned my diploma in business psychology, and bought a one-way ticket to Thailand. I’ve been coaching and traveling ever since—13 years now—and I’ve never looked back.
Q: What challenges did you face in building your career?
Dina: In the beginning, I doubted myself a lot. At 24, I thought, I’m too young. Who’s going to take me seriously? But I attracted clients who resonated with my energy. Another challenge was learning to value my work—I kept coaching for free until my own coach helped me recognize my worth. That shifted everything. Today, I know the importance of charging fairly for the value I provide.
Q: What milestones are you most proud of?
Dina: I’ve traveled to 47 countries, built a business that allows me to live freely, and created a lifestyle that I genuinely love. To me, freedom is the biggest achievement—freedom to travel, freedom to do meaningful work, and freedom to choose who I collaborate with. Happiness is my ultimate success.
Q: What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?
Dina: Women bring a softer, more empathic perspective to leadership, which is powerful. My former boss used to say that the best salespeople he’s ever met were women—because empathy and connection are strengths. I believe women CEOs are the future. Leadership is no longer about privilege; it’s about authenticity, and women excel at that.
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders?
Dina: Keep going, even when it’s tough. Find a mentor or coach who has walked the path before you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to women you admire—most will happily support you. And be inclusive: empower both women and men who value empathy and collaboration. Aim high and stay committed.
Q: How do you define success, both personally and professionally?
Dina: For me, success is freedom—not money. It’s about experiences, adventures, and living without regrets. I encourage everyone to set life goals: by 30, 40, 50. Don’t wait until you’re 70 and wish you had chased your dreams. Success is living fully, now.
“Success is freedom. Go after experiences, create a life you love, and never wait for permission to live your dreams.” – Dina Ramadan
