What inspired you to start your journey as a mindset coach?
I’ve spent most of my career in marketing and website development. Over time, I noticed that my clients, especially women, often got stuck—not because they lacked skills, but because of deeper mindset blocks. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just a business issue; it was personal. Many carried trauma or limiting beliefs that held them back. That led me to become a certified mindset coach, helping women overcome those internal hurdles so they could show up fully in their businesses and lives.

How did your work evolve beyond mindset coaching?
The more I worked with women, the more I saw how deeply rooted these mindset challenges were—often linked to past experiences or trauma. That’s when I started integrating somatic work into my practice. As someone who’s faced my own childhood trauma, I could see how these patterns trace back to our earliest experiences. Now, I combine mindset tools with somatic practices to help women heal, not just intellectually but through their whole being.

What have been some challenges you faced when building your business?
Honestly, it’s been a mix of self-compassion and a lot of grace for the ups and downs. Entrepreneurship isn’t linear—sometimes it’s two steps forward, one step back. Working on my own healing journey has been the biggest factor in breaking through those stuck points. Things like undercharging or over-giving often stem from unhealed places within us, and I had to confront that in myself.

Can you share a proud achievement or moment that’s close to your heart?
Absolutely. Becoming a Journey Dance facilitator has been life-changing for me and my clients. It’s a somatic movement practice that helps women process emotions, reconnect with their bodies, and unlock confidence. I weave mindset work into these sessions, and the transformations have been incredible—whether it’s women starting businesses, leaving unhealthy relationships, or finally stepping into their visibility.

What is your perspective on success?
Success is deeply personal. For some, it’s about financial gain; for me, it’s about impact. If I know my work is positively transforming lives, that’s success. And when you lead with impact, I believe the financial success naturally follows.

What advice would you give to future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?
Do the inner healing work. It’s essential. As women, when we heal our wounds, we show up more alive, present, and empowered. This work isn’t just for us—it’s for future generations. Unhealed patterns get passed down, often unconsciously. Healing is a spectrum—it doesn’t always mean something traumatic happened, but becoming aware and curious about your internal world changes everything. Start that work now; don’t wait.

Are you running your business solo, or do you have a team?
Right now, I’m wearing all the hats—founder, facilitator, marketer—you name it. It’s challenging, but I give myself grace. My vision is to build a team and scale this work through a nonprofit I’m launching. The goal is to make holistic, somatic healing tools accessible to more women, regardless of location or income.

What are your short-term goals for this year?
Two big ones: First, I want to bring more women into my online Journey Dance sessions. It’s such powerful work, and I’d love to see more women experience that transformation. Second, I’m focused on launching my nonprofit to help women heal from childhood trauma and life adversities with affordable, accessible support.
