Q: What inspired you to become a coach?
Claudia Wyatt: I’ve been coaching most of my life without realizing it. I was always the person my friends came to for advice, and I naturally found myself cheering people on and helping them see their potential. Over time, in leadership roles and while working with clients, people started calling me their coach.
What I realized is that many people simply want to be heard and seen. They don’t always need someone to tell them what to do — they need someone to listen and create space for them to grow. During the pandemic, when everything slowed down, more people began asking for my guidance, and that’s how my coaching business naturally evolved.
Q: Can you tell us about your coaching approach and programs?
Claudia Wyatt: My work is centered around my Walkabout Method, which meets people where they are in their journey. Everyone is at a different stage in life, and my approach helps them move forward regardless of where they begin.
I offer one-on-one coaching, group programs, memberships, and self-paced courses. What matters most to me is staying connected with my clients. I personally check in with them, support their progress, and help them stay accountable. Coaching, for me, is about building relationships and supporting people every step of the way.
Q: As a solopreneur managing multiple responsibilities, how do you handle your entrepreneurial journey?
Claudia Wyatt: I genuinely enjoy being involved in everything I do. I love learning, setting goals, and working on projects. While being a solopreneur comes with challenges, especially with technology and operations, it has also helped me grow.
Entrepreneurship teaches you to expect the unexpected. It’s not easy — there are moments of doubt, exhaustion, and uncertainty. But success takes time. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. When I see the impact of my work on someone’s life, that becomes my motivation to keep going.
Q: What are your thoughts on using AI while maintaining authenticity in business?
Claudia Wyatt: I’m not against AI, but I strongly believe in keeping things human-centered. AI can be a great tool for research or generating ideas, but it should never replace your voice or integrity.
Your business should reflect who you are. AI can help organize your thoughts or spark creativity, but authenticity comes from your own experiences and perspective. For me, maintaining integrity means ensuring my voice remains at the center of everything I create.
Q: What does women empowerment mean to you?
Claudia Wyatt: Women empowerment is at the heart of what I do. I’ve experienced being underestimated and dismissed, and those experiences only strengthened my determination.
I believe women should push past limitations, challenge doubts, and pursue what they truly want. Many fears come from external opinions, not our own abilities. When women believe in themselves and take action, they unlock endless possibilities. Supporting and uplifting each other is essential for growth.
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Claudia Wyatt: Everyone fails at something, and that’s okay. Failure is not something to fear — it’s an opportunity to learn and grow.
Focus on taking action rather than worrying about outcomes. Celebrate every step forward because each step makes you stronger, wiser, and more empowered. When you show up and share your gifts, you create meaningful impact in the world.
“Believe in yourself, take action despite fear, and remember — your voice and your journey can make a difference in someone’s life.”
