Today, Ana empowers people globally to embrace self-awareness, authenticity, and healing — inspiring our 5 million+ Fuzia community in their own paths of growth and self-love.
Q: What inspired you to begin your current journey?
Like everything in life, it started with a big challenge. I studied psychology at the University of Coimbra and later in Barcelona. But my real turning point came during my 15 years in Berlin, after a painful breakup that led to depression and anxiety. That experience pushed me toward spirituality. I discovered Reiki — back then a very unknown practice — and after my first session, I knew this was how I wanted to feel for the rest of my life. I began studying Reiki not to make it a profession but to understand myself better. Over time, I merged my background in psychology with energy healing, creating a grounded yet spiritual approach that deeply connects with people.
Q: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced along the way?
Moving countries multiple times was never easy. I’ve lived in Portugal, the U.S., Nicaragua, Spain, and Germany — each experience taught me resilience. In Berlin, the language was one of the hardest challenges; German isn’t something you master overnight. But through curiosity, perseverance, and self-belief, I adapted. The people I met along the way became my support system. I often say I feel as much “from Berlin” as from my home country — both shaped who I am today.
Q: What milestones are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the woman I’ve become — confident, grounded, and self-assured. When I returned to Portugal during the pandemic after years abroad, I started over from zero and built a fulfilling business rooted in authenticity. That was a huge milestone for me.
Another proud moment was pursuing photography in Berlin — teaching myself from scratch, working in darkrooms, and eventually exhibiting and selling my work. These creative pursuits paved the way for the person I am now — someone who believes in transformation through perseverance and self-trust.
Q: What are your thoughts on women and leadership today?
I believe women are capable of everything, but leadership should come from the heart, not competition. We don’t need to prove we’re better than men; we need to act from authenticity and softness, not from lack. Success looks different for everyone — whether it’s leading a corporation or being a devoted mother. What matters is knowing why you want what you want. I always tell the women I mentor: ask yourself if your ambition comes from fear or fulfillment.
Q: How do you define success, personally and professionally?
Personally, success means having quality relationships — genuine connections that make your heart warm. You don’t need many people, just the right ones.
Professionally, it means doing meaningful work that allows you to live abundantly — not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually. Success, to me, is having choice — the freedom to create a life that aligns with who you truly are.
“Success is not about how much you have, but how true you are to yourself. Real transformation takes time — it’s never a McDonald’s effect, but it’s always worth it.” — Ana Correia
