Abeir “Abby” Hussein: Helping Women Lead Their Lives, Not Just Live Them

Abeir Hussein

Abeir “Abby” Hussein is a transformation coach, founder of Flowability, and the creator of the “Life Unmuted” program — a journey born from her own experiences of reinvention, self-reflection, and resilience. Her story stands out because she speaks honestly about the realities of healing, the courage required to unlearn childhood narratives, and the power of choosing oneself at any age. Humans of Fuzia is proud to share Abby’s voice with our global community of 5M+ women as she inspires others to reclaim their identity, honor their inner truth, and build lives rooted in joy and self-leadership.

Q: Abby, what inspired you to start your self-discovery and coaching journey?
A: My journey began in 2008, shortly after becoming a mother. My son inspired me to look at myself more deeply — my choices, my patterns, and the beliefs I had carried from childhood. I realized how much of our lives are shaped by old stories we made up to survive. These stories eventually become ingrained, and we get stuck repeating the same patterns. That realization prompted me to begin my own transformation, and once I experienced the breakthroughs, I felt compelled to help others access the same clarity.

Q: Can you share more about your personal experiences that shaped Flowability and your program, Life Unmuted?
A: Over the years, I faced ADHD, menopause, and fibromyalgia — all at once. I had to grieve the version of myself who couldn’t continue life exactly the same way. But instead of allowing these challenges to stop me, I used them as catalysts. The Flowability method is simply everything I have lived, learned, and practiced with my loved ones and clients. I help people understand their narratives, challenge their self-beliefs, and move forward. Healing is not flowers and sunshine — it’s tough work — but every shift is a step toward freedom.

Q: What does your coaching structure look like?
A: My signature program, Life Unmuted, has three entry points: a six-month VIP intensive, a three-month program, and a lighter version suitable for groups. I’m also building a digital self-paced option. I run an intentional onboarding process because transformation requires readiness, honesty, and alignment. Beyond that, I plan to offer weekly Clarity Coffee sessions — short, accessible, one-on-one spaces where people can talk, reflect, and receive guidance. I want to remain approachable and human, not someone hidden behind paywalls.

Q: How are you spreading awareness about your work in the digital space?
A: I’m actively developing my website and strengthening my presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This step is new for me, as I’ve always been hesitant about online spaces. But now, I realize that visibility is essential if I truly want people to benefit from what I’ve built.

Q: What challenges do you navigate as an entrepreneur?
A: Living with a chronic illness — especially fibromyalgia — is my biggest challenge. If I don’t pace myself, flare-ups can set me back for days. I’ve had to learn the power of saying “no,” even to wonderful opportunities, because if something drains my energy, it isn’t truly an opportunity. My work requires mental clarity and presence, so I prioritize rest, self-awareness, and honoring my body’s signals.

Q: What are your aspirations for 2026?
A: By the end of 2026, I want the Life Unmuted program to be fully established and impactful. I’m also writing a book about the Flowability method — its origins, stories, and insights — and I aim to complete it within this timeframe. Additionally, I hope to launch at least one community project to support underserved groups. Making this work accessible is extremely important to me.

Abby leaves us with a powerful reminder: “You are more than your roles. When you treat your time, energy, and mental capacity as valuable investments — just like money — you begin making choices that honor who you truly are.”
