Dr. Andrea M. Slominski, Ph.D., is a women’s midlife coach, speaker, and author. Dr. Andrea’s coaching addresses the deep work of Meaning, Purpose, and Belonging, which change during women’s Midlife transformation. During her dissertation research and study, she explored the new life stage for women that has emerged over the past 120 years.
Dr. Andrea names this new life stage from ages 45-70 Regency—and identifies them as women’s new power years. She has shared her passion for helping midlife women at conferences, workshops, summits, and corporate events. She has published articles, given papers at international academic and cultural conferences, and continues to coach women to make the most of these emerging power years.
From Ph.D. research and work with thousands of women, Dr. Andrea created a proprietary coaching method for women 40+ to guide them through the often-tumultuous transformations of peri, midlife, and menopause.
Her work is rooted in the principles of depth and archetypal psychology. She leads Regent women to reclaim their passions, develop their purpose, and rediscover their “True North.” She inspires her clients to live their most authentic lives to serve the greater good.
Since starting her practice in 2015, Dr. Andrea has supported over three-thousand women through her coaching, mentorship, online gatherings, journals, and Covid-19 support programs.
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
My career started working as a director and producer of live theatre for over 20 years. Additionally, I worked in post-secondary education as a college theatre instructor, director, and producer for nine years.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
I help women in midlife navigate all the changes that this time of life brings, including perimenopause, midlife, menopause and post-menopause. Women go through a triple transformation, one is physical, one is psychological, and one is spiritual at this time of life.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
Since I launched in 2020, I have helped over three thousand women through my classes, workshops, training, support, and coaching programs.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
As an entrepreneur, I work longer hours than I did as a teacher, and my work schedule is always changing. It means that no two weeks are the same. It can be exciting and exhausting!
