If your business could have a mascot, what would it be and why?
My mascot would be an owl because they represent wisdom and transformation, two qualities I emphasize in my coaching. Owls symbolize inner wisdom, which is key in helping my clients grow and transform both personally and professionally.
What strategies do you employ to maintain a healthy work-life balance while running your own business?
Maintaining my calendar is crucial for balancing work and life. I designate certain days for meetings and others for content creation and planning. I also prioritize family time by finishing work by 3 p.m. so I can spend afternoons and evenings with my husband and kids. Understanding my peak work hours helps me stay productive while keeping personal time sacred.
When faced with unexpected detours on your business path, how do you pivot with grace and resilience, showing fellow women entrepreneurs the way forward?
I lean into my Human Design and follow what excites me. Detours and pivots often lead to growth, and I’ve learned that they don’t have to be disruptive. Whether it’s a major pivot or a minor adjustment, I see them as opportunities for expansion. By embracing the little pivots, I make the bigger ones less daunting.
How do you measure the success of your business beyond financial metrics, such as customer satisfaction or community engagement?
Success for me is when I witness my clients have “lightbulb moments” of clarity. Their growth and wins are my wins. I love building community by engaging in meaningful conversations through comments and direct messages. Teaching others how to connect authentically is one of my favorite aspects of the job.
Can you share a memorable moment where you witnessed significant growth or transformation in your business, illustrating the impact of your services/products?
One of the most significant transformations in my business came when I incorporated Human Design (HD) into my offerings. Initially, I was curious about HD, but as I accumulated knowledge, I realized how powerful it was for helping clients understand themselves. Once I added HD to my services, it became a game-changer, not just for me but for my clients too. It allowed me to guide them in creating offerings that resonate with their audience, creating a ripple effect of growth.
What role do you believe mentorship plays in the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial journey?
Mentorship has been a constant in my life, whether I realized it at the time or not. Mentors have helped me grow all three of my businesses and have encouraged me to remain curious and open to new opportunities. Having someone walk alongside you as you navigate challenges is invaluable.
What’s your work all about, and how does it make a difference in the world?
My work is about helping people communicate with their ideal audience authentically. I focus on lead generation, offer creation, and sales, all through the lens of Human Design. It’s important for people to embrace their uniqueness and share it with the world. I’m passionate about helping my clients step into their authenticity because I believe that’s what truly resonates with people.
