Noma Tariq

Noma Tariq is a home maker & actively working as an Appointment Setter for her clients. She started a coaching program about 02 months ago.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your professional journey/venture/initiative and what inspired you to choose this career.

I got married right after graduating. I was a housewife and a mother to two beautiful children but I felt broke and had nothing else to do. So I started an online clothing business and after some time got into content and script writing which was going pretty well. I later chose appointment setting as a career because I can be financially free and work on my own terms and timings and can look after my home and family effectively.

Was there any turning point in your life that changed your journey? If so, what was it? Please tell us the backstory behind it.

When I started my career a lot of people approached me and wanted to learn how to get into this field. When I started my own coaching program it was a turning point in my life as I became more financially independent and it really opened a lot of opportunities for me to grow.

Tell us about your goals, interests, and role models.

My main goal was to be independent and support my family financially while raising my kids as well. As I gained experience over time, I now want to help other housewives who wish to support their families while being at home and be financially free.

Everyone has their own set of challenges when starting an entrepreneurial journey. Still, the most essential part for others to learn is how you deal with those. Would you like to share with us your challenges and your coping mechanisms?

I had been lucky in this regard as I got full support from my husband when I started working online. But for those who face difficulties and challenges I would like to advise that you discuss everything with your partner and take him into confidence before starting any work. Once there is confidence it is quite easy to work and prosper.

What impact do you feel you have been able to create with your work so far and how would you want to grow in the next few years?

I have been helping my clients to increase their business revenue and helping my coaching clients to turn their passion into a career and giving them a direction to the right path.

While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?

The pandemic of COVID-19 affected the online clothing business positively as due to the lockdown everything was closed and people turned towards online purchasing which helped all online entrepreneurs.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Recently I booked an appointment which turned into a confirmed deal worth $7000 for my client.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

I would definitely like and wish to see women getting independent and supporting their families while fulfilling their duties at home as well. As women we certainly have the power to do all this if given an opportunity and with desired passion.

What’s the most important thing you have learned in your personal life and professional journey? What is your personal motto in life?

I have a policy of ‘Talk less and listen more‘ and ‘Be consistent‘. It is easy to get to the top but it is staying there that is most important.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

I think women can be excellent leaders in every aspect of life.

With your grit and determination, you are making a considerable impact, breaking through, and serving as role models for many budding entrepreneurs. What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

I would like to give a piece of advice to our young women that failures are the first step towards success, never give up is the key. Believe in yourself and what you are doing.
