If your business could have a mascot, what would it be and why?

Love this question, A lion as it’s brave and courageous and fearless. Also a sheep as they have a nice energy about them and they are CUTE

What strategies do you employ to maintain a healthy work-life balance while running your own business?

Powerful questions, I use planning tools, physical and digital ones, outlook and passion planner. I am very organised and structured but also creative and often will use messy creativity to make changes and take action. I ensure I start the week off strong, have my food planned, exercises in the diary and I am clear with a focus for life and work and all my goals are written down.  I also create a to/do list daily for what I need to achieve which comes from the weekly planning i do on a Monday.  I ensure I have regular breaks of walks, eating lunch and snacks and strong boundaries. I have over time also got better and better at saying NO to the right things and yes to the right things.

When faced with unexpected detours on your business path, how do you pivot with grace and resilience, showing fellow women entrepreneurs the way forward?

I get support throughout the journey, and not be afraid to pause and slow down. I reset, take time to ask what I am doing, why am I doing it and what’s the purpose.  I also Reflect, Reconnect, Rediscover, Reignite through the pivoting. I also pray and spirituality is the first foundation of my business

How do you measure the success of your business beyond financial metrics, such as customer satisfaction or community engagement?

My Health, the feedback we get, how I am feeling about the work we are doing and is it bringing me joy, contentment and am evolving  in a heart centered way. What is being said about us, feedback.

Can you share a memorable moment where you witnessed significant growth or transformation in your business, illustrating the impact of your services/products?

My whole business journey, I started my business over 10 years ago and fully ran it for 8 years. During this time I was recovering from burnout, stage 4 cancer and infertility so many things which get in the way.  I have learnt to follow the journey, step by step, get support, allow myself to heal so I can serve our clients as best as I can. All our products and services are trialled and tested in my own life to be able to make sure they serve our clients. Our whole ethos is about evolving. Right now we are going through an evolution and reposition which is very exciting.

What role do you believe mentorship plays in the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial journey?

Extremely important, I would not be where I am today without mentors, counselors, personal trainers, financial advisers, fellow business owners, and always identify where I need to grow and develop and what skills gap I have and how I can go and get it and not be afraid to apply learning and knowledge.  I hated school growing up as my mum died of cancer when I was young and I didn’t do well at school.  Which is why I am so passionate about learning, growing, education and mentorship.
