Laura Kyttanen

Laura Kyttanen is a Mindset Energy Coach.

She tells us that, “As founder and CEO of Zielo Studio, my mission is to empower people to boldly create the change they desire in their life for maximum impact. Based on my own healing journey, I developed a proprietary coaching model and assessment centered around “Mindset Energy”, a holistic mind-body-soul approach. I have combined this method with the power of immersive group coaching and a digital platform to catalyze the transformation process. I am excited to shake up the coaching industry and how people experience their transformation journey.”

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

Growing up I was always interested in learning and teaching others. I have memories of all my friends coming over to my basement to play “school.” I would use my giant chalk board to give lessons. In real school my teachers would typically write notes on my report cards like “Laura is a sponge – she loves to learn on a variety of topics.” I guess you could say that I have always been very curious, open minded and courageous. I would take initiative to expose myself to new challenges. I appreciated adventure and could talk to anyone.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

In March 2020, we moved internationally with two small kids during the COVID pandemic. It was a moment where many people were seeking coaching yet I was overwhelmed with getting my family settled into a new country. I made the bold decision to take time off from work. It was the best decision ever since in that period it was during a silent meditation that I received a vision which would help me scale my business so my coaching could reach more people using modern technology. That is how Zielo Studio was born.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

There is a quote by Adrienne Maree Brown “When you elevate, we all elevate.” To me this can be explained by understanding the power of a dandelion. If you imagine yourself blowing the fluffy white part of a dried dandelion, the seeds are carried for miles before finally settling down to grow again. You have the same impact around you as you expand and transform your life. This change creates a legacy for future generations to come.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

Often the greatest blocks we face as leaders are not external but internal. The most inspiring female leaders today have the courage to confront their own limitations and fears. They know that when things change inside of them, things change around them. As Gandhi boldly stated: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” It all starts within.

What’s the most important thing you have learned in your personal life and professional journey? What is your personal motto in life?

Transformation is 20% awareness and 80% is integration. It is often easier to acknowledge your patterns and a lot more challenging to overcome them. To elevate your potential, it starts with expanding your Mindset Energy. The way I designed our programs was intentional – to enable this integration process and support sustainable transformation. My motto is “Your Mindset Energy today creates your future impact.”

With your grit and determination, you are making a considerable impact, breaking through, and serving as role models for many budding entrepreneurs. What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

(1) Master your Mindset Energy. Be 100% accountable for creating what you desire in your life. (2) Treasure yourself and be kind to others. As Rumi stated “Only from the heart can you touch the sky.” (3) Stay curious, dream bigger and have the courage to conquer your fears.
