What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

Happy was a nickname given by my mother, who tragically died after committing suicide when I was four years old. During his teens, I was bullied and beaten up many times. I became homeless (not hopeless) and slept rough with exposure to extreme weather and poor conditions; survival on a day-to-day basis meant seeking shelter on local trains and park benches in the streets of Mumbai, India. Through it all, I remained hopeful and always had a positive outlook on life with a vision and definite goal to serve and help others globally.

At the age of 8, I found work at a local garage and factory, polishing shoes on the railway platform in Mumbai, India. From this point on, I never looked back. Courageously, I continued to build on opportunities that came my way, even working as a house and officer cleaner, cook and lifestyle assistant.

I then went on to have a diverse career! Journey as an international high-paid model, actor, celebrity manager, and fashion and event Director. I now run my own successful Canadian company, Real Canadian Career & Migration Consulting Ltd; also, I am a diploma holder as a Canadian Immigration Consultant with a mandate to help young people, and new immigrants for study, work, settle, and existing businesses, to improve their quality of life.

My selfless interest achieves results by conducting various coaching/consulting/speaking seminars and using my extensive international business network to help people succeed in their personal and professional life.

My role models are Swami Vivekananda, Mother Terresa, Guru Govind Singh ji, Ratan Tata, Warren Buffet, Napolean Hill, Shah Rukh Khan, Marcus Aurelius and most importantly, “Myself”.

Was there any turning point in your life that changed your journey? If so, what was it? Please tell us the backstory behind it.

It goes back to when I was eight years old when I started earning my first, not a salary, but money. My uncle used to have a bicycle. One day, I washed his bicycle. In the evening, he gave me five cents, and I asked, “Why did you give me that?” And he said, “Oh, I noticed you washed my bike.

The next day I did the same thing without him asking me to do it, and got five cents, like the first time. Then I did it again on the third day, and I got another five cents. But on the fourth day, I got nothing. So, I said, “Uncle, why did you not give me five cents today?” He said, “My dear son, you did not wash my bicycle.” I said, “Oh, interesting.”

On the fifth day, I shined his bike like it was brand new: spokes, frame, wings, and everything. He gave me ten cents that day, so I asked my uncle, “Why did you give me ten cents today?” He said, “You went above and beyond to shine and sparkle my bike, so you get five cents extra.” Since then, I got that concept, the idea of Going the Extra Mile.

One of my own favourite quotes is,

When we do excellent service, we reap excellent rewards. And we do poor service, and we reap poor rewards.” That was a significant turning point since then; I have never looked back to poverty, adversity or failures of my life but marched on my own drums to learn new skills, serve others and enjoy the triumphal journey and holiday of Mother Earth.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”

Since my childhood, successful people have told me that (I have been a YES Happening Man!) I have written 1000s of ideas on how to improve myself to serve others. From those fountains of preeminent ideas, I have consciously learned to read people’s minds and understand that everyone on Mother Earth likes to be respected and recognized. If we give them both, ultimately, we will get the same in return, and everybody will feel happy.

And, among over half a dozen businesses, I started my first business in India. I continued to Canada to coach, groom, consult and promote models, artists, students and young adults globally for job, career and lifestyle advancement.

Everyone has their own set of challenges when starting an entrepreneurial journey. Still, the most essential part for others to learn is how you deal with those. Would you like to share with us your challenges and your coping mechanisms?

Challenges? Who does not have it? I admire my challenges and acknowledge them calmly and wisely before acting. I know that my life (and everyone’s) has been designed to work and have joy passionately, and my hidden potential contains what I seek and all that I need.

My coping mechanism is that it is OK to be who I am and to choose what I have, as we know that “calm, small voice within us,” that place of full awareness within that is in touch with the entire universe and is the source of the temple of wisdom.

Not being able to cope with our challenges doesn’t change our circumstances; it reveals us!

So who am I? How often do we ask ourselves?

While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?

During COVID-19 20 21 or even before COVID-19. I have learned that the weakest in us have a supreme gift. The real trick is not acquiring a vast fortune, power, prestige or more fame but finding out our natural diving gift and putting it to use. I did it with my specialized knowledge to serve others even more passionately.

What is unique about you? What is that unmatched combination of traits, attitudes, and abilities you have that never before appeared on the face of mother earth? These questions we should ask during the most terrible lockdown or recessions times of our life and ACT and move forward!

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Being the first Sikh Indian and Male Canadian in 2017, I was crowned with honoured as the certified World-Class Instructor of Napolean Hill Foundation USA for personal and professional advancement teaching. Also, recently recognized as a “Winning Coach” in Canada.

If you please will look at my LinkedIn page, youtube or podcast “The Happy Conversation” idea show on all podcast channels, my global achievements or accomplishments will shine bright with the grace of the universe, and my international celebrities and clients have showered me with love and honour, and that is the asset of my life.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Become TOP in the personal and professional department of life. T for Thinking, O for Operating, and P for Progressing.

THINK OPERATE PROGRESS is the key to peace, sound health, love, prosperity and happiness.

First, reward and appreciate that without mother earth, there would be nothing and progress; thus, without women, there would be no humans and continued growth. Women play a vitally important role in society, and we are proud of it (especially me).

In the business world, one must positively continue to learn in the line of her field, practice and focus on the attitudes toward other people to reap the rewards to lead life and lead others for abundance. It also means that the exclusive benefits you derive from the world will be directly proportional to the service/benefits you provide to others.

(If others do not offer you rewards, then do not hang in there, move on and say thank you and search more and market your skills to valuable people or companies, please do not forget there are over 8 billion people in the world, and how can we run out of people/clients to serve them?).

Remain and be BBB Beautiful, Brave and Bold always. 🙂

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in your personal life and professional journey? What is your personal motto in life?

Continue learning, improving, exploring, loving and serving others ethically, and enjoy the journey and holiday on mother earth.

My childhood motto is: Protect Mother Earth, Animals and treat each person as the most preeminent person on the earth.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

Every human being has a charismatic and mysterious something we call a pleasing personality. When we say women’s leadership has an “excellent personality,” we really mean that she has freed and released the creative potential within her and can express herself.

Leaders understand or should realize that it is the era of the human mind, collaboration, and financial and customer service in the business world.

The first-lifetime rewarding risk or critical point is to learn and do it ourselves before we positively teach or lead others as great leaders and set a benchmark and legacy.

We can only lead if we learn first, and leading others is a great responsibility either at home, workplace or in society. Women’s authentic leadership skills have unlocked real personalities in others and made this world a better and brighter place to live and flourish.

With your grit and determination, you are making a considerable impact, breaking through, and serving as role models for many budding entrepreneurs. What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

The less we expect from the outside, the more we will have in our inner world.” And the more we have in our inner world, we will find supreme happiness, joy and a sense of freedom. (So THINK every day at least 30 minutes)

Write down the money you will need to eat decent food, shelter and decent living necessities for the rest of your life, and that should be your first goal in life. This practical strategy will eliminate your biggest FEAR of poverty, illness and death.

Create or have a long-term vision to serve others (in your occupation)

Learn to understand yourself as much as possible, so others know when you ASK what you want or desire.

Write down eight ideas daily on how to improve yourself in personal and professional areas and serve them passionately.

Be TOP in every department of your life, and be happy to make others happy always! Thank you so much.
