Sunni Mallo is a Certified Behavioural Change Consultant. She is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a Certified Communication Expert. She is a passionate Public Speaker and is dedicated to individual and organizational development. She has trained and acquired reputable certifications in neuroscience from Asia and the UK.
A professional member of the Association of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP) International CIC in the UK. She is currently the CEO of InnocentMinds Training and Consulting, the foremost trainers of NLP in Africa. Which majors in Training, Coaching, Consulting and Therapy. With almost a decade of experience in Personal development, she has trained at renowned organizations within Nigeria and handled several Executive Coaching sessions.
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
Prior to joining my current venture, I worked with Moving Walls Sdn Bhd, a reputable Outdoor Media Company in Asia in the capacity of Human Resource and Talent Management. Before which I was studying full time and taking internships. I obtained a Bachelors in ICT, Postgraduate in psychology, Certifications in applied positive psychology, counseling practitioner and CBT.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”
My current Business majors in Training, Consulting, Coaching and Therapy. My drive was mostly from a place of passion and desire to spread knowledge. I came into a body of knowledge (NLP) that greatly improved the quality of my life. At the time I was abroad and longed to share this knowledge with people back home especially since NLP was not known here at the time. So largely the desire to create change and impact other people’s lives. The same desire led me to further acquiring other psychological tools to help individuals and organisation improve their mental health, increase productivity and efficiency. And it has been a worthwhile journey of growth.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
My current role involves me in Initiating and managing the company’s training programs and events. I manage the company’s overall operations, by delegating and directing agendas to drive profitability, I also Manage company organizational structure, strategy, and communicate effectively with the board and esteemed clients. Lastly, I Initiate creative campaigns to drive sales and maintain customer relationships. All while personally handling some training sessions and executive coaching clients.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
I celebrate every step of my journey. I have received 3 awards of excellence along the way from institutions and organizations along the way.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
If given an opportunity, i will like to see a world where more women step up to the plate beyond all cultural or gender barriers to a place where they commit to pursuing their goals, passion and dreams.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
I am super excited to be experiencing the tremendous growth women are making in the workspace and leadership particularly. I believe women make amazing leaders when they get a chance to. I am totally in support of more women leaders.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
Your dreams are valid. Your goals and desires are achievable. Commit to working towards your goal and stay through. You deserve it
