Before you became the business titan you are today, enlighten us about the thrilling adventures of your pre-business life.

Head Teacher ( Principal) of a large award winning school for over 20 years. I ran the school mostly from a wheelchair following a serious ski accident. I’ve learned to walk twice as an adult. The gift was the creation of a unique approach to developing personal empowerment and conscious leadership in others. It has proved to be highly successful in schools and in businesses.

Could you elaborate on the nature of your initiative/ business/current role, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?

Author of 40 books, creator of a wide range of programmes to support personal and professional development including the accredited Enlightened Leadership Programme (UK CPD Standards Office). Host of the Gina Gardiner & Friends radio show which is heard by millions of people each month worldwide. Radical change Catalyst & Motivational Speaker – Many themes from success Mindset, Wellbeing, Enlightened Profitable Leadership, The Wisdom of Kindness In Business and many more – every aspect of my work is about helping people, teams and businesses optimise their potential.

As a young woman entrepreneur, what changes do you hope to see in the world and what opportunities are you seeking?

Not a young woman but at 71 huge wealth of experience and expertise to share

I have a HUGE mission: To positively impact on a million leaders in the next 3 years through the development of enlightened conscious leadership

I’d like to see a world where leaders lead with integrity, compassion and courage. Where leaders did the deep dive work on themselves and led with authenticity. where they recognised that ‘genuine power’ is not about dominion over others but seeing the potential in others and nurturing it. Where leaders recognised their staff were their treasure and that together they left a positive living legacy in the world.

Women now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in the workplace, breaking through glass ceilings to reach the top. What are your thoughts on women’s leadership today?

It is up to each woman to recognise that the thing most likely to limit them is themselves. Of course there are obstacles but with the right mindset, persistence and resilience – anything is possible.

There are still too many women who believe that to succeed they must simply be less hairy men and far too few women championing their sisters and supporting one another.

Having confidence (not ego) in our ability is vital and being prepared to step out of their comfort zone, to embrace change and uncertainty and to harness their natural curiosity, creativity and solution thinking is the way forward.
