Lisa Engle
Lisa Engle tells us that, “I am a wife, mother of 5, grandmother, author, speaker, and certified health and well-being coach.”
Before you became the business titan you are today, enlighten us about the thrilling adventures of your pre-business life.
I have served in the chiropractic “world” supporting people in making choices congruent to their values…so in essence, I’ve been coaching before I started coaching. My work volunteering in my children’s schools has given me an opportunity to improve the health and function of school communities.
Could you elaborate on the nature of your initiative/ business/current role, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?
Coaching, in the capacity I serve, facilitates an experience where a mother will learn more of her authentic strengths, resources, and skills while making choices from HER values. Until a mom is connecting with her truest Innate sense of herself, is functioning from a place of her well-being and health, she can’t serve her children (herself or others) to her potential.
What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?
As clients become more comfortable navigating an intentional life that is designed from what matters most to them, their confidence and competence to make healthier choices for themselves and their families has rippled effects far beyond their homes.
The elevated awareness of the responsibility we each have in making choices that impact the well-being of our own bodies shifts the power from being a victim of our health to one of being empowered toward health. We are made to be well.
Having a strong support system is essential for your well-being. We would love to know who your biggest supporter is. Share with us and let’s celebrate the amazing people in our lives who make a positive impact.
My family, colleagues, and clients have all been extremely supportive of the work I am committed to.
As a young woman entrepreneur, what changes do you hope to see in the world and what opportunities are you seeking?
I believe we can live in a good world and that it starts with individuals connecting to and accepting the responsibility for their own personal “worlds”. My intention was to create additional content to support and equip others to do just that.
Women now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in the workplace, breaking through glass ceilings to reach the top. What are your thoughts on women’s leadership today?
The shift from “power over” to “power with”, largely is experienced when women have been given the opportunity to lead. Win win vs. win lose; women are shifting the results to ensure success for all involved.
