LIza Lomax is the founder of Love Your Body Coaching.
She tells us that, “As a Holistic Success Coach, I am passionate about helping overachievers, perfectionists, and people pleasers—especially womenpreneurs, solopreneurs, business, and spiritual coaches—prioritize themselves to achieve success in all areas of their lives, not just business.
My journey began from my personal struggles with emotional eating, body image, and negative mindsets. I spent years battling with my reflection in the mirror and the constant pressure to be perfect. Through my own transformational journey to self-love, I discovered the profound connection between mind, body, and success.
What inspired me to start this initiative was witnessing the impact of these struggles on many high-achieving individuals who, despite their professional success, felt unfulfilled and stuck in cycles of self-neglect. I wanted to create a space where people could mend their mind-body connection, break free from limiting beliefs, and embrace their true potential.
Today, as a Medium, Certified Intuitive Channeler and Healer, Animal Communicator, and International Speaker, I bring a unique blend of intuitive guidance and practical coaching to help my clients thrive. Having lived in 11 countries over the last 3.5 years, I bring a diverse perspective and deep empathy to my work.
I’m here to support you in loving yourself, prioritizing self-care, and achieving holistic success. I believe that when we truly love and care for ourselves, we can transform not only our personal lives but also our professional endeavors.
I’m excited to connect with this community and support each of you on your journey to self-love and success.”
What were your early years like? Could you share a bit about your life before you began your coaching journey?
Like I stated above, I had personal struggles with emotional eating, body image, and negative mindsets for 25 + years. I spent years battling with my reflection in the mirror and the constant pressure to be perfect. And went through my own transformational journey to self-love, I discovered the profound connection between mind, body, and success. And it is why I do the work I do now, to help support, serve, teach others how to embody that connection as well.
Was there any turning point in your life that changed your journey? If so, what was it? Please tell us the backstory behind it.
Realizing that it was an inside out job. I had to heal what was going on inside first, before changing the outside, if that’s what I desired. It was at first and quickly realized nope, it was never about the weight. The weight was just a manifestation of what was really going on inside, under the surface, the things I didn’t want to deal with.
Everyone faces unique challenges when starting an entrepreneurial journey. The most valuable lessons often come from understanding how these challenges are managed. Could you share the difficulties you’ve encountered and the strategies you’ve used to cope with them?
Stress and Burnout. Constantly feeling overwhelmed and unable to unwind due to high demands and responsibilities. Adding in mindfulness practices, relaxation exercises, and time management strategies. Anxiety and Self-Doubt. Struggling with anxiety and self-doubt despite external success, leading to sleepless nights and second-guessing my abilities. Having cognitive-behavioral strategies, personalized coaching, and confidence-building exercises to help me overcome anxiety and bolster self-esteem. Lack of Work-Life Balance. Struggling to find a healthy balance between my personal and professional lives, leading to neglect of self-care and personal relationships. Developed customized work-life balance strategies, self-care routines, and got guidance on setting boundaries to ensure I could thrive both personally and professionally.
What impact do you feel you have been able to create with your work so far and how would you want to grow in the next few years?
