Before you became the business titan you are today, enlighten us about the thrilling adventures of your pre-business life.
I was born in Denver CO, grew up in Seattle WA. Went to the Univ. of Wash. for undergrad where I majored in home economics. I got my MBA from University of California at Los Angeles. After I earned my MBA, I spent several years working in product management for General Mills and Del Monte. I took a detour into the athletic footwear industry where I served as Marketing Director for Avia. My final corporate job was working in mid management for Norelco/Philips. I ran my own market research firm specializing in the housewares industry for over 35 years before I closed it at the end of 2018.
Could you elaborate on the nature of your initiative/ business/current role, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?
I am launching a mental fitness coaching business. I serve people who have had a Big Hairy Audacious Dream for at least 6 months but are not making much progress on making their dream their reality. I help them overcome the mental obstacles that are standing in their way.

I have two big supporters: my husband and my accountability partner.
As a young woman entrepreneur, what changes do you hope to see in the world and what opportunities are you seeking?
I want every every woman and girl to believe in her enoughness. To l believe in their skills, talents, ambitions, goals. To embrace who they are. To look in the mirror and love the woman looking back at them, love every wrinkle, every curve, everything that makes them unique and beautiful.
I am seeking opportunities to ignite a movement and to speak to women all over the world.
Women now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in the workplace, breaking through glass ceilings to reach the top. What are your thoughts on women’s leadership today?
The world needs way more women in the top levels of leadership in business and government. The world will be better when that happens.
