Andie Robinson
Andie Robinson is a professional Spiritual Family Behavior Life Coach and Mystic Shop owner. In her own words, “I have a degree in human service management with an emphasis on Early childhood development.”
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
In my initial years of growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a social worker and work with children and families. Being an adoptee myself, around three months old. I grew up knowing I wanted to guide others as a department and children’s and families case worker. At a point in my teens, I was angry at everyone and did not want to attend college. We all have a period within our lives where we feel like we don’t fit in. When you have grown up being bullied, you can experience different traumas, and you learn to have safety mechanisms in place that sometimes we don’t even know we have created.
I have learned and grown since I was a teen, and by my mid-twenties, I found how to process my traumas and experiences. This has taught me to become more empowered and self-loving and to have boundaries with people and things within my life. Knowing what I will be allowed into my energy holds the same vibration as me.
I have now learned to process and transmute the old trauma from my body that has been stored in different areas. Doing so will take years after coming out of living in fight or flight for so long. The feeling of safety is unreal even when the new reality you have created is a home sweet home.
Tell us something about your initiative/business. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
Intuitive Angel Coaching and Mystic Shop came to fruition when my intuition told me it was time to go from case management, and my health was not improving during this time. Intuitive Angel Coaching and Mystic Shop is for families and individuals needing guidance with their children’s behaviors and individual family and guidance within their relationships.
While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?
During the time of Covid-19, I worked as a family case manager. My job changed from being in the office to working from home and fieldwork with the Department of Children and Families.
The change I saw was how others in supervisor and higher-ranking spots started treating others verbally and mentally within the workplace. This became something that the professional world, for a bit, was taking lightly. In 2023, professional bullying and intimidation within the workplace has become widely written about and known for the type of workplace harassment, bullying, and intimidation that once was hidden behind the doors of society. Individuals can look to seniority figures to be something that you should not treat with disrespect, but be professional, kind, and hard-working. You also don’t have to stay in these environments and go and shine or light bigger and brighter in a better environment that will see you for what you are worth.
What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?
Since being able to start Intuitive Angel Coaching and Mystic Shop, I’m looking forward to starting my master’s degree in leadership this winter. I have completed certifications in Human Rights Education Training and Human Trafficking Prevention Training, as well as certificates in life coaching.
How has your life changed because of your initiative/venture?
My life has changed in many ways since beginning Intuitive Angel Coaching and Mystic Shop. I have grown spiritually, personally, and professionally. I have grown and found within myself the power to become someone and something empowered, hold firm boundaries, understand their shadow self, and understand the light within.
Do you have anyone who is the biggest support system in your life? Please let us know.
My spouse has been the most significant support system. We have been together for 26 years, and he has supported me and every idea I come up with. He can also bring me out of the clouds when, at times, I start to daydream too long. He can get me back on track and where I need to go in my business and my goals.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity? OR Share a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.
