Bernadett Halaj
Bernadett Halaj is an accredited trauma-informed coach practitioner.
She told us that, “I can help you resolve trauma-induced behavioural patterns that can show up in physiological signs, ruminating subconscious thoughts, and emotional reactions. I am a patient and compassionate practitioner who will provide a non-judgmental and safe environment for you. I like people, my own company, and planning to live in a tiny house with my dog.”
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
My coaching journey started in my childhood, not at the point when I joined Animas Centre for Coaching in 2019. I needed to heal my own traumatic pain points that were induced by external cues, such as the Cold War which brought injustices and adults in my external environment who suffered from PTSD, and developmental trauma that showed up in narcissistic traits.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”
My own healing journey led me to places and people who said yes to the life matters that I said yes to. There are many people who I met and grateful for our connections. The path that we took and that path further evolved for them and for me too. The pivoting point and the connection that has been influencing me and my business ideas is to be the one with my penfriend on death row in the USA. The personal development work turned into a training program and empowered me to do more for people involved with the justice system. This is my greatest gift from the universe that I can help others remember who they are therefore reminding myself of who I am.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
*
I am an Accredited Trauma-Informed Coach Practitioner. I am a sole trader with a registered online coaching practice. The impact that I am trying to make is to make a ripple effect with the help of people involved with the justice system. All around the world all 8 billion of us worry about safety and when it comes to rehabilitating and reforming correction departments and prison services, little attention is paid to those who acted from their unresolved traumatic pain experiencing. I like to acknowledge the following here that hurt people hurt and my intention is not to minimize the hurt that returning citizens inflicted on others. But highlight the solution that unless we offer healing methods and effective mental health services to those who are hurt they will carry on hurting themselves and others. I want to remedy the hurt through my Trauma-Informed Coaching Practice, offered to those involved with the justice system.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
*
Yes, email correspondence with my penfriend on death row. Reaching out to politicians and decision-makers in the justice system. I am better at recognizing my own internalized narrative and applying the techniques to shift the fixed mindset toward the growth mindset. Consistent personal development work is important to do God’s work.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Everyone needs to understand what trauma is that we all experience(d) trauma in our lives small, big, generational, biological, financial, personal, collective, etc. And to learn to unlearn and therefore create new healthy mechanisms to able to take conscious actions.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
That women’s leadership can be achieved and maintained with positive collaboration between men and women. The world needs healthy, well-balanced, and inquiring leadership. A well-implemented and appropriate form of coaching and therapy forms is vital to have in any workforce and is so important that people learn to communicate from their true-self. In today’s world, many people measure their happiness and worth by what other people think about them. Leadership starts with having self-knowledge knowing your vulnerability and taking responsibility for it. Knowing yourself will lead you to show up with your values more and make and maintain more positive connections with others such as your colleagues therefore with your business.
