What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your professional journey/venture/initiative and what inspired you to choose this career.
I was on a career path to become a concert clarinetist and in my junior year of high school, I witnessed the miraculous healing of my father’s chronic health condition by non traditional modalities. My life changed forever in that moment, and I knew my life’s purpose was to bridge the physical with the spiritual, the invisible with the visible, to help people heal in ways they never thought possible.
Tell us about your goals, interests, and role models.
I am passionate about empowering people to take their power back, step into their divine right to exist, and reconnecting them to trusting and relying on their inner wisdom to make discerning choices for themselves.
Everyone has their own set of challenges when starting an entrepreneurial journey. Still, the most essential part for others to learn is how you deal with those. Would you like to share with us your challenges and your coping mechanisms?
Being an entrepreneur and self employed for nearly the last 30 years, has been a massive growth opportunity for me. I learned much about myself, and continue to evolve and grow daily, learning new things, particularly about myself. My journey has been one of spiritual and self growth. The most important thing I learned is how to become my own best friend, put myself first and practice self-care by setting boundaries.
What impact do you feel you have been able to create with your work so far and how would you want to grow in the next few years?
I feel that I have much wisdom to share with the masses, particularly about individuals reconnecting with themselves, becoming their best friends, and learning how to trust themselves to make the correct decisions for themselves. Basically stepping into their sovereign and divine power.
While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?
I feel the pandemic was the grand reset for humanity. For way too long, humanity had been on a trajectory of constantly being in motion, or what I describe as “Doing” mode. In fact our society seems to see lack of movement as being idle and not a productive member in the community. Sometimes labeled as lazy and worthless. The sad thing is that when we are in “Doing” mode, you are in your head trying to figure things out, worrying about yesterday, and contemplating tomorrow, rarely are you in the present moment. There is a lot of force, trying to make something happen….over the long haul, these cause stress, burnout, and decrease your immune system. When that happens, it is a set up for diseases and chronic illness to occur. As human beings we are not wired to be in fight or flight, or operating from fear continuously.
I believe that the pandemic made space for those who were willing to just “Be“. Remember when the entire world was on lock down for the initial 2 weeks of the pandemic? This was when everyone was told not to do…stay at home, you are in quarantine, or even a massive global time out. In observing this, it was interesting to watch what others behaved around this. For some it was a welcome relief, they finally could exhale and get the much needed reprieve to regain their well being. It was a time for coming within self and for those who were ready to have a deeper connection with themselves. Some people, who were highly uncomfortable with this, needed to distract themselves from being by themselves, these were the ones who were not able to be still or were afraid to be by themselves with themselves.
I found this to be quite entertaining.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
I am an author of 5 Books, 2 of which are International Amazon Best Sellers, and my recent publication became an Amazon Best Seller in October 2022.
I also host a weekly video podcast called Healing In Ways You Never Thought Possible, where I interview people around the world who have had amazing healing stories from all sorts of ailments, to offer hope, inspiration, and transformation for the listeners.
