What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?
Family life and money was a struggle, coming from a working class family with little money. Worked a 9-5 for 10 years in sales and marketing. Wanted to be an actress and go to Drama school but had a career change!
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”
I have experienced the negative and positive side of money after saving £15,000 and going travelling at the very last minute. I experienced how money can give you freedom of choice and options and I wanted everyone to experience that. Money is emotional and I
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
Money is emotional and when we understand our relationship with money, it gives us the awareness we need to make huge changes to our financial situation and our overall well being. The more people that can tap into the emotional side of money and learn how to use it as a tool to build wealth, the better. I think it is life changing when you feel confident in the financial decisions you are making and it all starts with your money mindset.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
I would love to see more women investing in the stock market and having the financial confidence to build wealth. Investing and growing money has been reserved and saved for old white men but I want us to change the narrative. For young women to take hold of their financial futures and getting excited about using money as a tool. It is accessible to us and education on it is key, which I am so passionate about. I truly believe that the more money that women have, them are good in the world we can do.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?
I think women leadership is so important. We have been led to believe we are too emotional for business or entrepreneurship but we bring compassion and support and I think it is so important for young women to see people that look like them in leadership roles. Fighting to get a seat at the table, breaking through the glass ceilings- we deserve to be lading teams and making waves in the world.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
No one is as good as being you as you. Do not let anyone make you think your ideas and dreams are not worth chasing. Show up authentically as yourself, and show the world what you have. Don’t dim your light to appease other people. And do not leave your finances up to a male partner (if you have one). Take control of your own finances, invest, save, grow it – use it as a tool. It is the best form of power and you deserve to have all the wealth you desire.
