Lisa Smith and Jennifer Dutilly
Jennifer Dutilly, an MBA, and a Certified Life Coach, along with Lisa Smith has co-founded Shift Coaching Services. They became business partners in Spring of 2021. They are ICF certified life coaches and have been stylists for more than two decades. Jenn recently moved to Parker Colorado with her husband and three sons, and Lisa is a single mom of two daughters and is a Seattle native.
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
Before Shift Coaching Services, Jenn and Lisa were stylists with cabi clothing – where they built a friendship. Since we were both coaching and styling on our own, we decided it would be a lot more fun to work together!
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
Shift Coaching Services is a unique coaching and styling business that helps professionals align their strengths and goals with their personal style. Our clients receive 1:1 coaching support and accountability in order to transform their lives inside and out. We partner with our clients and are passionate about teaching skills and sharing tools that make getting dressed simple and stress free. When a person has a wardrobe that inspires confidence it makes for a happier, more engaged and productive human.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
Our clients value the personal 1:1 coaching along with having a thoughtful accountability partner who walks alongside them to define their personal style that reflects their strengths and goals. Shift has a master class that is being well received by leaders and business organizations, we have been asked to speak on several podcasts, as well as in person events. Shift is currently writing editorials on what “business comfort” means post pandemic and how to show up as your authentic self.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
It is personally rewarding to encourage others to be their authentic selves and see the confidence they find when they are achieving their goals and have a personal style that emanates that confidence.
Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.
When you know how to define your goals and lean into your strengths you will be able to allow the inner confidence to shine in your personal style. What you wear matters and has an impact on you and those around you. What do your clothes say about you? What would you like them to say about you? You get to decide.
